Wilkhahn’s Chassis chair was designed by Stefan Diez, and manufactured by using innovative manufacturing process called space frame technology traditionally used for the automotive industry. 

half AND half participated in their competition on “rethinking” the Chassis; the idea is to use a printed graphic that simply gives the Chassis a “FLAIR”; by placing a continuously changing pattern, gesture and color of the graphic, and chroming the frame in a gold color results in a new appearance of the Chassis that is elegant and timelessness that brings balance to the industrial processes that is used to fabricate the chair.
